Marcos Amado
Head Coach
Marcos Amado is the Head Coach and founder of Peninsula Boxing, with extensive experience coaching at both amateur and professional levels. Since 2014, he has been the Head Coach for Boxing Victoria, and since 2019, he has also served as the Victorian Futures Coach for Boxing Australia, helping to identify and develop the next generation of elite athletes.
Marcos has represented Australia as a coach on the world stage, including at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, 2023 Pacific Games (Solomon Islands), 2018 Commonwealth Games (Gold Coast, Australia), and the 2016 Youth World Championships (St. Petersburg, Russia).
Through Peninsula Boxing, he continues to build a strong and inclusive boxing community, combining technical excellence with a passion for athlete development at all levels.

With over 12 years of experience at Peninsula Boxing, Stef Tilley brings passion, dedication, and deep knowledge to every session.
As a qualified trainer holding her Certificate III & IV in Fitness and a former competitive boxer, Stef knows what it takes to help clients reach their goals — whether that’s building strength, improving fitness, or learning boxing fundamentals.
Stef offers personalised 1:1 and 2:1 personal training sessions tailored to your needs, experience level, and goals.
Hunter trcek
GROUP TRAINER
Hunter Trcek is a Bronze Level Boxing Australia Coach and a current amateur boxer, bringing both passion and firsthand experience to his coaching. As one of the younger members of the Peninsula Boxing team, Hunter brings energy, enthusiasm, and a strong connection with up-and-coming athletes.
With a deep understanding of what it takes to train and compete, Hunter is committed to helping boxers of all levels develop their skills, confidence, and love for the sport.
